Whether you’re new to pouch surgery, someone who has been living with a pouch for a while or someone considering pouch surgery then our Pouch Information Day is for you. The Pouch Information Day is open to anyone interested in learning more about internal pouches. Whatever your situation, it’s a great day that provides an opportunity to learn more about pouches, both from a medical and lifestyle perspective. We throw in refreshments throughout the day and lunch too! Booking in advance is required so we can manage numbers – please use the online booking form below to book each person who will be attending.
The day is usually a mix of surgical presentations, presentations from a pouch nurse on topics such as after care and managing your pouch and an opportunity to talk to people who are living with a pouch already.
Additionally there will be time during the day to chat with others in a similar position and discuss what they are considering or how they are managing with a pouch.
We are delighted that Mr Richard Lovegrove, MB BS MD FRCS (Eng), Consultant Colorectal Surgeon, Worcester Acute Hospitals NHS Trust has agreed to present at our Information Day again this year.
