Pouch Information Day

Each year IA holds a Pouch Information Day which provides a full day of spreading information and awareness about internal pouches. There are talks from healthcare professionals, experiences from patients and the opportunity to mingle and share stories with others who have had a similar experience.

The event is for those already with an internal pouch, considering surgery, partners, friends and other family members, and anyone else with an interest in pouch surgery. The team usually arrange social events on both the Friday and Saturday evenings, either side of the day, which will give you a chance to meet and chat with others in a more relaxed environment.
